Inductive pulse amplifier of serie IF are particularly suitable for measuring cells in aluminum housing and applications with high temperature (-196 °C up to +350 °C [320.8 °F up to +662 °F]). For all other applications we recommend the carrier frequency transducers of the VTE series.
The inductive pulse amplifier detect the r.p.m. of KEM flow meters. Each passing of a tooth will be detected contactless and produces a pulse at the output. Therefore each pulse corresponds to a fixed volume and the frequency corresponds to the volume flow.
The pickup is screwed into the meter via a thread M14×1.5 (option UNF ½”-20). Accordingly the IF and VIEG fit on all KEM measuring cells.
