INDUCTIVE HEAT METER CALOR 40

Inductive heat meter CALOR 40 is designed to measure the heat supplied by the heat transfer medium, for example to transfer stations, industrial or residential buildings, to individual apartment buildings or to different technological processes and operations, including for measuring cold. It is characterized by the high reliability, accuracy and stability of metrological parameters.

Key technical properties

The imaging unit can be either a compact or a separate version. The two-line LCD display then displays total energy, heat output, instantaneous flow, volume protected, back volume, date and time, monthly archive, daily archive, tariff values, outages, and failure and description.

The flow meter also offers a wide range of outputs and communications for connection to various control systems. The customer has two pulse outputs (max 400 Hz), current output 4 ÷ 20 mA (with instantaneous flow or power monitoring) or MBus or RS485 communication with M-BUS, AMSET, J & amp; C, C30 and others. Of course there is an extensive data archive. The meter also has two pulse inputs for external meters.

Process connections are available, flanged, sandwich (flanged), threaded and then ductile fitting (DIN 11851) or clamp.

The flexibility of use is provided by several types of tabs, hard or soft rubber, rubber with a certificate for drinking water, PTFE, PFA or E-CTFE.

For correct measurement of heat consumption, it is necessary to use the matched temperature sensors, ideally in a four-wire design to reduce the losses by conduction. In the scope of CALOR 40 meter delivery, we supply Pt500 pair of four-wire thermometers with optional cable lengths of 4m (standard), 6m, 8m, 10m, 12m and 15m according to the thermometer installation distance from the CALOR 40 evaluation point. The thermometers are marked with a serial number and A or B The pair always have the same serial numbers and can only be mounted together on a calorimeter unit.

Application of the meter in industry

Inductive heat meter CALOR 40 are, thanks to their certification, primarily used as a commercial gauge, with both a power counter and a volume counter for trade. It can be used to measure both heat and cold supply, to equitherm regulation based on performance, and as a billing flow meter, for example, when selling not only heat, but also the heat transfer medium itself.

Inductive heat meter CALOR 40 and its main advantages

  • certificate of commercial meter according to ČSN EN 1434
  • high accuracy of measurement across the flow range
  • long-term stability of metrological parameters
  • the flow sensor can be adapted to a very aggressive or alkaline fluid
  • Does not contain moving parts
  • does not cause pressure drops
  • local and remote reading of all archived data in daily and monthly archives
