The PROVAL segmental ball is an eccentric plug, high performance rotary control valve. Designed for use in a wide variety of applications ranging from low pressure, high “Cv” to slurry and pulp services, to oil and gas services. The PROVAL segmental ball can handle shut-off pressure drop up to 50bar. Operating temperatures can from -50°C to 450 °C.

The PROVAL segmental ball control valves consist of a straight valve body with less flow resistance and separable plug with flow guide that rotates eccentric.

The Cryogenic service is a globe style valve which consists of single seat, balanced cage trim with cage guide and quick-change trim.

Cryogenic bodies are constructed of austenitic stainless steel (SUS316).

The cryogenic extended bonnet regulates the temperature of gas moderately and protects the damage of packing from the service fluid.

It is usually manufactured from 304 or 316 stainless steel and handles temperature down to -196 °C.

Standard construction consists of stainless steel bonnet nuts and stud bolts. Standard cryogenic valve combine diaphragm actuator with multi-spring.

The PROVAL valve utilizes a double offset disc design, coupled with a flexible metal seat design which provides an independent static and dynamic seal. Seat design allows for self-centering on the disc. The valve is capable of achieving tight shut off at cryogenic temperatures, bidirectional sealing, and is firesafe.

The use of an all metal seat design, allows the valve to withstand a partial or full burn in a condition. The metal seat design provides a fire safe seal, all the time; and is not dependent on fire intensity.

3-WAy GLOBE VALVE

The design of PROVAL 3-Way control globe valves are generally used either to mix flowing medium or to divert on medium into two outlet flows, and are often used when fluid temperature is to be adjusted through heat exchangers.

Mixing-type valves also can be used for diverting service when both the nominal size pressure differential is small.

However, the mixing type is more suitable when the nominal size is larger than 4” and the pressure differential is also considerable.

BALL VALVE

CONCENTRIC 2-WAY, 3-WAY BALL VALVES

The PROVAL provides 2-Way ball valves with a special inner valve which can be fully opened or closed by simply causing the stem to make a 90° turn. The off take from a ball valve, when totally opened, has same bore as the pipeline and its fluid resistant is negligible. For this reason, this automatic valve is best suited to on-off service, controlling various types of liquid, gas and slurry.

The PROVAL 3-Way ball valves are available in two types. The diverting type (L) splits flow by switching between two directions of inlets while the converging type (T) mixes two fluids by switching between two outlets. Both of those moves are made with a mere quarter turn of the stem.

The V-notch ball produces an equal-percentage flow characteristic allowing for wide rangeability and a broad control range. The segmented ball also provides a non-restrictive flow path through the valve allowing for high capacity flows. The Vee-Ball valve features a variety of seals to allow for excellent shutoff and shearing between the ball and seal upon closure.

The splined drive shaft of the Vee-Ball combines with a variety of power and manual actuators to provide reliable, high-performance throttling or on-off operation for many different applications.
